Nearly every Regional City or Town has a local Business Excellence Awards that is either hosted by their Chamber of Commerce of Business Association or their Small Business Local provider. The awards are invaluable to each business community as not only do they reward and recognise the businesses themselves, they really bring the whole community together, and allow the businesses to reflect on their growth and successes.

Each local Awards co-ordinator provides businesses with support and assistance in preparing their submission, with many holding awards writing submission workshops in the lead up to the event. Many past entrants have said that the process of entering the awards gave them a fresh perspective on their business and enabled them to consolidate and further develop their strengths and work on other areas for the betterment of their business as a whole. And whilst the event itself is a night to remember, the awards is more of a twelve month business improvement program.

Winners from each regional town or community may also be eligible for the Western Australian Regional Small Business Awards, an annual event presented by the Small Business Development Corporation (SBDC). The annual state-wide regional awards are a great aspiration for all regional businesses and we look forward to seeing regional businesses represented from all 9 regions at the awards on November 2017.
